daWorks Records has released a soundtrack album for the Norwegian drama The Crossing (Flukten over grensen). The album features the film’s original music composed by Stein Berge Svendsen (Devil’s Bride, An Affair, Sonja: The White Swan) and performed by the Bratislava Symphony Orchestra. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. The Crossing is directed by Johanne Helgeland and stars Anna Sofie Skarholt, Bo Lindquist-Ellingsen, Samson Steine and Bianca Ghilardi-Hellsten. The movie is set during World War II and tells the story of a 10-year-old girl and her brother who discover two Jewish children hidden in a secret cupboard in their basement after their parents get arrestedThe drama was released in Norwegian theaters this past February and has been picked up by Menemsha Films for a release in the U.S. later this year.
