Jeff Cardoni (Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, Silicon Valley, The Kominsky Method) is the new composer of the Spectrum Originals series L.A.’s Finest. He is scoring the second season of the drama created by Brandon Margolis & Brandon Sonnier (The Blacklist) based on Michael Bay’s Bad Boys franchise and starring Gabrielle Union, Jessica Alba, Zach Gilford, Duane Martin, Ryan McPartlin, Sophie Reynolds and Ernie Hudson. Laura Karpman & Raphal Saadiq have previously scored last year’s first season of the show. Margolis, Sonnier, Union, Alba are also executive producing the Sony Pictures Television production with Jerry Bruckheimer (Armageddon, Top Gun, The Rock), Jonathan Littman (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation), KristieAnne Reed (Lucifer), Pam Veasey (CSI:NY), Doug Belgrad (Bad Boys for Life), Jeff Gaspin, Jeff Morrone and Anton Cropper (Suits). Cardoni has previously scored episodes of Jerry Bruckheimer Television’s CSI: Miami and Training Day. L.A.’s Finest will return for its second season later this year.
As previously reported, Cardoni’s other upcoming projects include the ABC comedy United We Fall and the feature Paradise Cove. He also continues to score NBC’s A.P. Bio, which will return for a third season next year on Peacock, the CBS comedy Young Sheldon, which currently airs (in its third season) every Thursday and ABC’s Single Parents, which currently airs Wednesday nights.
