A soundtrack album has been released a soundtrack album for the Australian sports drama Ride Like a Girl. The album features the film’s original music composed by David Hirschfelder (Shine, Elizabeth, Australia, The Railway Man, Legends of the Guardians). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Ride Like a Girl is directed by Rachel Griffiths and stars Teresa Palmer, Sam Neill, Sullivan Stapleton, Genevieve Morris, Sophia Forrest, Brooke Satchwell and Anneliese Apps. The movie tells the life story of Michelle Payne, the first female jockey to win the Melbourne Cup. The drama was released in Australian theaters last month. No word yet on a domestic release date.
