A soundtrack album has been released for the drama Sprinter. The album features songs by Kabaka Pyramid, Ce’Cile, Ne-Yo & Shenseea, Wasp, Jafrass, Shenseea, among other artists. Also included is a suite from the film’s original score composed by Joseph Trapanese (Oblivion, Straight Outta Compton, The Greatest Showman, The Raid: Redemption). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon Music, where you can also check out audio samples. Sprinter is directed by Storm Saulter and stars Dale Elliott, Lorraine Toussaint, David Alan Grier and Kadeem Wilson. The movie executive produced by Jada Pinkett & Will Smith follows a Jamaican teen who hopes a meteoric rise in track-and-field can reunite him with his mother, who has lived illegally in the U.S. for over a decade. The drama was released in select theaters earlier this year and will be coming out on Blu-ray and DVD on January 21, 2020.

Mi love this movie like crazy. Dale makes mi wanna visit Jamaica. The movie made me love the way Jamaicans speak.
I don’t mind watching it over and over again specially were Akeem met with his mom again. I love this movie.
