Sleeping Giant Records has released two new soundtrack albums for the sci-fi drama The Expanse. The albums feature selections of the show’s original music from the show’s second and third season composed by Clinton Shorter (District 9, 2 Guns, Contraband, Pompeii, Code Black). Lakeshore Records has previously released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music from the first season. The Expanse is created by Mark Fergus & Hawk Ostby based on the novels of the same title by James S.A. Corey and stars Thomas Jane, Steven Strait, Shohreh Aghdashlo, Florence Faivre, Cas Anvar, Dominique Tipper, Wes Chatham and Frankie Adams. The show’s first three season aired between 2015 and 2018 on Syfy and a fourth season is expected to premiere later this year on Amazon Prime.
