Jade Records has released a soundtrack album for the French documentary Lourdes. The album features the film’s original music composed by AVIA (aka Pierre Aviat) (The Barbarian Invasions, Rocco, Sir, France Boutique). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. A CD version is also available in France. Lourdes is directed by Thierry Demaizière & Alban Teurlai and centers on the titular small town in the south of France, to which thousands of pilgrims converge daily since the apparitions of the Virgin Mary to Bernadette Soubirous, 160 years ago. The documentary opened in French theaters earlier this month. No word yet on a domestic release.
