Victor Reyes (The Night Manager, Buried, Grand Piano, Red Lights) has composed the original score for the upcoming action thriller Escape Plan: The Extractors. The film is directed by John Herzfeld (15 Minutes, 2 Days in the Valley) and stars Sylvester Stallone, Dave Bautista, Jamie King, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Lydia Hull, Tyler Jon Olson, Max Zhang, Devon Sawa, Harry Shum Jr., Malese Jow and Sergio Rizzuto. The movie is third part in the Escape Plan series and follows Ray Breslin as he is hired to rescue the kidnapped daughter of a Hong Kong tech mogul from a formidable Latvian prison, where his girlfriend is also captured. Herzfeld also co-wrote the screenplay with Miles Chapman who scripted the previous two installments. Randall Emmett & George Furla (Lone Survivor, 2 Guns) are producing the project with Mark Canton (300, Immortals, Piranhas 3D) Zack Schiller (The Babysitter, Jane Got a Gun), Robbie Brenner (Dallas Buyers Club), Jie Qiu and Echo Su. Alex Heffes has scored the original 2013 movie and The Newton Brothers have composed the music for last year’s sequel Escape Plan: Hades. Escape Plan: The Extractors will be released on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD on July 2, 2019 by Lionsgate.
