Clinton Shorter (District 9, Contraband, Colony, Pompeii) is composing the original music for the upcoming action thriller Boss Level. The film is directed by Joe Carnahan (Narc, The A-Team) and stars Frank Grillo, Mel Gibson, Naomi Watts, Ken Jeong, Annabelle Wallis and Michelle Yeoh. The movie centers on a retired U.S. Army Special Forces veteran who is trapped in a never-ending loop, resulting in him dying every day, and must figure out who is responsible. Lorenzo di Bonaventura & Mark Vahradian (Transformers, Bumblebee, RED) are producing the project with Randall Emmett & George Furla (Lone Survivor, 16 Blocks). Shorter has previously scored the Emmett- & Furla-produced feature 2 Guns starring Denzel Washington. Boss Level is set to be released later this year by Entertainment Studios.
Shorter also continues to score the sci-fi drama The Expanse, which is expected to return for its fourth season later this year on Amazon Prime.
