Daniel Hart has scored the upcoming indie drama Light of My Life. The film marks the second feature directorial effort of Casey Affleck (I’m Still Here) who also stars in the movie alongside Anna Pniowsky, Tom Bower, Elisabeth Moss and Hrothgar Mathews. The movie follows a father and his young daughter who are trapped in the woods after a deadly pandemic radically alters the world. Affleck also wrote the screenplay and is producing the Black Bear Pictures production with Teddy Schwarzman (The Imitation Game, All Is Lost, Ben Is Back) and John Powers Middleton. Hart (Pete’s Dragon, The Exorcist) has also scored the Affleck-starring features Ain’t Them Bodies Saints, A Ghost Story and last year’s The Old Man and the Gun. Light of My Life will premiere next month at the 2019 Berlin Film Festival.
Hart also continues to score Showtime’s SMILF, which currently airs in its second season Sunday nights and CBS All Access’ Strange Angel, which will return for its second season later this year.
