Gaumont and Légende Films have released a soundtrack album for the French/Belgian historical comedy drama Edmond. The album features the film’s original music composed by Romain Trouillet (Sauvage). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out the full album details and listen to to audio clips. A CD version will also be released overseas. Edmond is written and directed by Alexis Michalik and stars Thomas Solivérès, Olivier Gourmet, Mathilde Seigner and Tom Leeb. The movie based on Michalik’s hit stage play of the same title is set against the vibrant backdrop of Belle Epoque Paris and revolves around the writing of the world famous play Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand in 1897. The film will be released in French and Belgian theaters on January 9. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
