Silva Screen Records has announced a soundtrack album for the documentary General Magic. The album features the film’s original music composed by Benji Merrison (Dynasties). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, January 4 and will be available to download on Amazon. General Magic is directed by Sarah Kerruish & Matt Maude and tells the story of the titular startup company, which spun out from Apple in 1990 to create the ‘next big thing’. The movie tracks the progress of anytime, anywhere communication from a thing of sci-fi fiction in 1994 to a reality in our pockets and on our wrists today. The documentary premiered at last year’s Tribeca Film Festival and was shown at other film festivals over the last couple of month. No word yet on a release date. Visit the official movie website for more information.
