Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album for the German dramedy What Doesn’t Kill Us (Was uns nicht umbringt). The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Hauschka (aka Volker Bertelmann) (Lion, Patrick Melrose, Adrift, Gunpowder, The Current War, Hotel Mumbai). The soundtrack is now available to download overseas. Visit the German iTunes Store to listen to audio samples and to check out the full track list. What Doesn’t Kill Us is written and directed by Sandra Nettelbeck and stars Beyond Zirner, Mark Waschke, Johanna ter Steege, Deborah Kaufmann, Barbara Auer and Christian Berkel. The comedy drama premiered at this year’s Locarno Film Festival and is being released today in German theaters. No word yet on a domestic release of the soundtrack and the movie.
