Philip White has recently scored the upcoming comedy Nobody’s Fool. The film is written and directed by Tyler Perry and stars Tiffany Haddish, Tika Sumpter, Omari Hardwick, Mehcad Brooks, Amber Riley and Whoopi Goldberg. The movie centers on a woman who is forced to accept that she may be getting “catfished” by an online boyfriend whom she has never met in person, when her wild sister gets released from prison and re-enters her life. Perry is also producing the comedy with Will Areu and Mark E. Swinton. Christopher Lennertz (Lost in Space, Horrible Bosses, Sausage Party) serves as the project’s score producer. Nobody’s Fool will be released in theaters nationwide on November 2, 2018 by Paramount Pictures.
White has previously composed the score for Perry’s Boo 2! A Madea Halloween, as well as the upcoming Tyler Perry’s a Madea Family Funeral, which is set to be released on March 1, 2019 by Lionsgate. Lennertz has previously collaborated with Perry on this year’s Acrimony and also contributed the themes to Boo 2!.
