Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for Thomas Lilti’s French drama The Freshmen (Première année). The album features the film’s original music composed by LoW Entertainment (aka Alexandre Lier, Sylvain Ohrel & Nicolas Weil) (Party Girl). Also included are the composers’ scores for Litli’s 2014 feature Hippocrates: Diary of a French Doctor (Hippocrate) and the director’s 2016 movie The Country Doctor (Médecin de campagne). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio clips. The Freshmen starring Vincent Lacoste & William Lebghil follows a young man who is about to start his first year of medical school for the third time and a new freshman who has just graduated from high school as they try find a middle ground between despair and hope. The drama is being released in French theaters today. No word yet on a domestic release.
