Natalie Holt has been hired to score the second season of the History original series Knightfall. The show is created by Don Handfield & Richard Rayner and stars Tom Cullen,Bobby Schofield, Sabrina Bartlett, Julian Ovenden and Sarah-Sofie Boussnina. They are joined in Season 2 by new cast members Mark Hamill, Tom Forbes and Genevieve Gaunt. The show follows the famed Knights Templar in their search for the Holy Grail. Aaron Helbing (The Flash) has joined the drama this year as the project’s new showrunner. He is also executive producing the project with Handfield, Rayner, Jeremy Renner, Josh Appelbaum, André Nemec, Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg. Andy Price has scored last year’s first season. Holt (Journey’s End, The Honourable Woman, Three Girls) also has the upcoming ITV series Beecham House coming up. The show is created by Gurinder Chadha (Bend It Like Beckham, Viceroy’s House) & Shahrukh Husain and stars Tom Bateman, Lesley Nicol, Gregory Fitoussi, Adil Ray, Marc Warren, Pallavi Sharda, Dakota Blue Richards, Leo Suter and Bessie Carter. The drama is set on the cusp of the 19th century in Delhi before the British ruled in that region and depicts the fortunes of the residents of Beecham House, an imposing mansion surrounded by acres of exotic woods and pristine lawns. Chadha is also executive producing the project and is directing the first three episodes. Beecham House is expected to premiere in the UK in early 2019 on ITV.
Holt has also recently scored the BBC drama Press, which just premiere in the UK last week. She is also scoring the upcoming psychological thriller Cordelia. The film is directed by Adrian Shergold (Funny Cow) and stars Antonia Campbell-Hughes, Michael Gambon, Catherine McCormack and Johnny Flynn. The movie follows a woman who lives in a basement flat in one of the less salubrious parts of London and is trying to cope with her sister and her boyfriend who she lives with, a stalker, and neighbors including a mysterious cellist and an eccentric old man. Shergold and Campbell-Hughes also co-wrote the screenplay. Kevin Proctor is producing the project. Cordelia is currently in post-production and is expected to premiere in 2019
