Epic Records will release a soundtrack album for the animated feature The Star. The album features the songs from the movie, including the title track performed by Mariah Carey who also co-wrote the song with Marc Shaiman, as well as tracks by Fifth Harmony, Kelsea Ballerini, Kirk Franklin, A Great Big World, Zara Larsson, Yolanda Adams, Jake Owen, Casting Crowns, Jessie James Decker, Saving Forever & Pentatonix. The soundtrack will be released on October 27, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Star is directed by Timothy Reckart and features the voices of Steven Yeun, Gina Rodriguez, Zachary Levi, Keegan-Michael Key, Kelly Clarkson, Anthony Anderson, Kristin Chenoweth, Tracy Morgan, Tyler Perry and Oprah Winfrey.
