Nick Jonas has recorded the original song Home for Blue Sky Studios’ upcoming animated feature Ferdinand. The singer/songwriter co-wrote the track with Justin Tranter and Nick Monson. The song, which will be released later this month, will be featured in the movie directed by Carlos Saldanha (Rio) and starring John Cena, Kate McKinnon, Gina Rodriguez, Anthony Anderson, Daveed Diggs, Gabriel Iglesias, Bobby Cannavale, David Tennant, Peyton Manning, Flula Borg, Sally Phillips, Boris Kodjoe, Jerrod Carmichael, Raúl Esparza, Karla Martínez and Miguel Ángel Silvestre. The film is inspired by The Story of Ferdinand by Munro Leaf & Robert Lawson and tells the story of a giant bull with a big heart. The movie scored by John Powell will be released in theaters nationwide on December 15, 2017 by 20th Century Fox.
