A number of major film/TV composers will be participating at the 8th Annual Fans of Film Music event, which will take place next Saturday, September 2, 2017 at The Bridge Recording Studio in Glendale, CA. This year’s panelists include Steve Jablonsky (Ender’s Game, The Island) who recently scored the fifth installment in Michael Bay’s Transformers franchise, Daniel Hart (Pete’s Dragon, Ain’t Them Bodies Saints) whose latest projects include David Lowery’s drama A Ghost Story and Alex Heffes (The Last King of Scotland, 11.22.63) whose most recent feature film project is the documentary Earth: One Amazing Day. Also appearing at the panel will be composer Michael Abels whose first film scoring credit is this year’s hit movie Get Out, cellist Tina Guo who performed on numerous film scores (including the Wonder Woman theme) and recently joined Hans Zimmer on his worldwide tour, David Buckley (The Good Wife, Jason Bourne) who received his first Emmy nomination for his theme for The Good Fight last month and recorded his score for the upcoming Papillon remake earlier this summer, as well as Lolita Ritmanis (Batman: The Killing Joke, Justice League) who co-scored the recently released animated movie Batman and Harley Quinn. All attendees will receive a limited edition CD of Abel’s Get Out score, which was specifically produced for the event.
