Sony Pictures Animation has published a video featurette about the music for the studio’s animated feature Smurfs: The Lost Village. The video features composer Christopher Lennertz (Sausage Party, Horrible Bosses, Ride Along, Identity Thief) and director Kelly Asbury talking about their work on the project, as well as footage from the scoring sessions at Abbey Road Studios in London. Check out the full video after the jump. Lennertz’ score, as well as an original song he co-wrote with KT Tunstall is now available on Madison Gate Records. Smurfs: The Lost Village starring Demi Lovato, Rainn Wilson, Joe Manganiello, Jack McBrayer, Danny Pudi and Mandy Patinkin is now playing in theaters nationwide.
