Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the indie coming-of-age dramedy First Girl I Loved. The album features the film’s original music composed by John Swihart (Napoleon Dynamite, How I Met Your Mother, Switched at Birth, Youth in Revolt, New in Town). The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 14, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. First Girl I Loved is written and directed by Kerem Sanga and stars Dylan Gelula, Brianna Hildebrand, Mateo Arias, Jennifer Prediger, Tim Heidecker and Pamela Adlon. The movie centers on the relationship of a sarcastic, closeted teenager and a classmate who’s suddenly unsure of her own orientation. The comedy drama premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and will be released in select theaters and on VOD on October 18. Visit the official Facebook movie page for updates on the film.
