John Paesano is composing the original score for the upcoming biographical drama All Eyez on Me. The film is directed by Benny Boom (Next Day Air) and stars Demetrius Shipp Jr., Danai Gurira, Lauren Cohan, Kat Graham and Jamie Hector. The movie chronicles the life and legacy of hip-hop artist and actor Tupac Shakur, including his rise to superstardom, his imprisonment, and his time at Death Row Records. Ed Gonzalez and Jeremy Haft have written the screenplay. James G. Robinson (Ace Ventura, Two for the Money) and David C. Robinson (Dream House, Man of the Year) are producing the project for Morgan Creek, alongside L.T. Hutton. No official release date has been announced yet for All Eyez on Me.
Paesano also has the comedy Almost Christmas, as well as the drama Same Kind of Different as Me coming up. He also scored the Chloe Grace Moretz-starring drama Brain on Fire, which just premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and is expected to be released next year by Broad Green Pictures.
