The full details of the soundtrack album for the film adaptation of The Girl on the Train have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Danny Elfman (Batman, Spider-Man, Alice in Wonderland, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Fifty Shades of Grey). The soundtrack will be released on October 7, 2016 by Sony Classical and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Girl on the Train is directed by is directed by Tate Taylor (The Help, Get On Up) and stars Emily Blunt, Rebecca Ferguson, Haley Bennett, Justin Theroux, Luke Evans, Edgar Ramirez, Allison Janney, Lisa Kudrow and Laura Prepon. The movie is based on the bestselling novel by Paula Hawkins and follows a woman who spends her daily commute fantasizing about the seemingly perfect couple who live in a house that her train passes every day, until one morning she sees something shocking happen there and becomes entangled in the mystery that unfolds. I enjoyed the movie having no prior knowledge of the story line. The psychology of the characters was well scripted.
