Sony Classical will release a soundtrack album for the boxing drama Hands of Stone. The album features the film’s original score composed by Angelo Milli (Seven Pounds). Also included is the original song Champions performed by Usher & Rubén Blades who also co-wrote the song with Raphael Saadiq and Taura Stinson, as well as more songs by Blades. The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 2, 2016. Hands of Stone is written and directed by Jonathan Jakubowicz and stars Robert De Niro, Edgar Ramirez, Usher Raymond IV, Ana de Armas, Ellen Barkin and John Turturro. The movie follows the life of Roberto Durán, the Panamanian fighter who made his professional debut in 1968 as a 16-year‐old and retired in 2002 at the age of 50. The drama will be released in theaters tomorrow by the Weinstein Company.
