Sony Classical will release a soundtrack album for the animated feature Max & Me. The album features the film’s original music composed by Mark McKenzie (The Greatest Miracle, Blizzard, Frank and Jesse, Warlock: The Armageddon) who recorded his orchestral score at Abbey Road Studios in London. Violinist Joshua Bell is featured as a soloist on the score. The soundtrack is set to be released overseas on October 7, 2016. No word yet on a domestic release date. Max & Me is produced by Pablo Jose Barrara (For Greater Glory) & Claudia Nemer, written by Bruce Morris (Pocahontas, Hercules) and features the voices of David Henrie, Ashley Greene, Neal McDonough and Hector Elizondo. The movie follows a youngster who learns about sacrifice through the true story of Polish priest Maximilian Kolbe and the challenges he faced during the Nazi invasion of Poland in World War II. No release date has been announced yet for the animated movie.
