John Paesano has taken over scoring duties on the upcoming comedy Almost Christmas. The film is written and directed by David E. Talbert (Baggage Claim, First Sunday) and stars Gabrielle Union, Danny Glover, Mo’Nique, Kimberly Elise, Omar Epps, Romany Malco and Jessie T. Usher. The movie follows an estranged family forced to come together for their first Christmas since the death of the family matriarch. Will Packer (Ride Along, Obsessed, Think Like a Man) is producing the project. Aaron Zigman was originally scoring the film as previously reported and credited in the movie’s first trailer. Paesano’s upcoming projects also include the features Brain on Fire starring Chloe Moretz, as well as Same Kind of Different as Me, which has been pushed back to a release on February 3, 2017 since our last update. He recently also scored the second season of Netflix’s Daredevil.
