Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the indie coming-of-age drama A Light Beneath Their Feet. The album features the film’s original music composed by John Swihart(How I Met Your Mother, Napoleon Dynamite, Youth in Revolt, New in Town). The soundtrack will be released digitally on May 13, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. A Light Beneath Their Feet is directed by Valerie Weiss and stars Taryn Manning, Madison Davenport, Kurt Fuller, Nora Dunn, Kali Hawk, Maddie Hasson and Carter Jenkins. The movie follows a high school senior who must choose between the college of her dreams and taking care of her mother living with bipolar disorder. The drama was shown at various film festivals over the last year and will be released in select theaters on May 6 by Emerging Pictures.
