Randy Edelman has been tapped to score the upcoming boxing drama Back in the Day. The film is directed by Paul Borghese and stars William DeMeo, Alec Baldwin, Danny Glover, Mike Tyson, Annabella Sciorra, Shannen Doherty and Michael Madsen. The movie follows a young half-Italian, half-Puerto Rican boxer who lost his parents and is taken under the wing of the mafia in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. DeMeo has written the screenplay and is also producing the project. Edelman’s previous film scoring credits include such titles as Dragonheart, xXx, Gettysburg, Kindergarten Cop, My Cousin Vinny, The Mask, While You Were Sleeping and Ghostbusters 2.
