Adam Young has released his first full score, which is inspired by the epic voyage of Apollo 11 to the moon. The singer/songwriter who is best known for his electronica project Owl City is planning to pick a historical event in history and produce a score for it each month. His first release, Apollo 11 based on the 1969 moon landing, is now available to download on Amazon & iTunes and can also be streamed on Spotify and Apple Music. Young has previously written the theme song for Zack Snyder’s animated feature Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole and also contributed original compositions for Disney Animation’s Academy Award-winning movie Wreck-It Ralph and DreamWorks Animation’s The Croods. Visit Young’s score website for more information about the score project and for updates about future releases.
