The composer duo of WAZ-Jackson is composing the music for the upcoming CBS drama Rush Hour. The show is based on Brett Ratner’s film franchise starring Jackie Chan & Chris Tucker and stars Justin Hires, John Foo, Wendie Malick, Aimee Garcia, Page Kennedy and Jessika Van. The series follows a Hong Kong police officer who is assigned to a case in Los Angeles, where he’s forced to work with a cocky African-American LAPD officer who has no interest in a partner. Bill Lawrence & Blake McCormick have developed the show and are also executive producing the Warner Bros. Television production with Ratner, Jon Turteltaub (National Treasure, While You Were Sleeping, Cool Runnings), Jeff Ingold and Arthur Sarkissian (Rush Hour film franchise). WAZ has previously worked with Lawrence & McCormick on Scrubs, Cougar Town and Undateable. Rush Hour is set to premiere in 2016 on CBS. For updates on the series, visit the official show website.
