Alexis & Sam have signed on to score the upcoming wall street drama Equity. The film is directed by Meera Menon and stars Anna Gunn, James Purefoy, Carrie Preston, Sarah Megan Thomas and Alysia Reiner. The movie centers on a female investment banker who is threatened by a financial scandal and must untangle a web of corruption, forcing her to re-examine the rules of the cutthroat world she has always loved. Amy Fox has written the screenplay for the Broad Street Pictures production. Alexis & Sam’s previous scoring credits include this year’s Lila & Eve starring Viola Davis & Jennifer Lopez and We’ll Never Have Paris starring Melanie Lynskey, Maggie Grace & Zachary Quinto. Equity is currently in post-production and is expected to premiere in 2016.
