Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the indie drama The End of the Tour. The album features the film’s original music composed by Danny Elfman (Spider-Man, Batman, Good Will Hunting, Silver Linings Playbook). Also included are the songs from the film by artists including R.E.M, Felt, Tracey Ullman, Fun Boy Three and Brian Eno. The soundtrack will be released digitally on July 24, 2015 and physically on August 28. Check out audio clips below and visit Amazon to pre-order the CD. The End of the Tour is directed by James Ponsoldt and stars Jason Segel, Jesse Eisenberg, Joan Cusack and Ron Livingston. The movie tells the true story of Infinite Jest author David Foster Wallace, who committed suicide in 2008, during a book tour at the start of his fame and his rivalry with Rolling Stone reporter David Lipsky, who accompanied Wallace on the tour.
