Sony Classical will release a new soundtrack album for the History original series Vikings. The album features selections from the original music from the third season of the show composed by Trevor Morris (The Tudors, The Borgias, Immortals, Olympus Has Fallen). The soundtrack will be released digitally on May 18, 2015 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The label has previously released soundtrack albums for the show’s first and second season. Vikings created by Michael Hirst and starring Travis Fimmel, Jessalyn Gilsig, Gustaf Skarsgard, Clive Standen, Katheryn Winnick, Alexander Ludwig, George Blagde and Alyssa Sutherland a tells the story of viking Ragnar Lothbrok who rises to fame by successful raids into England with the support of his family and fellow warriors. The third season of the historical drama aired this spring on History and the show will return for a fourth season in 2016. For updates on the series, visit the official show website.
