WaterTower Music will release a soundtrack album for the action adventure San Andreas. The album features the film’s original music composed by Andrew Lockington (Journey to the Center of the Earth, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters). Also included is a cover version of California Dreamin’ performed by Sia. The soundtrack will be released digitally on May 12, 2015 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Audio clips are available after the jump. San Andreas is directed by Brad Peyton and stars Dwayne Johnson, Carla Gugino, Alexandra Daddario, Ioan Gruffudd, Archie Panjabi, Hugo Johnstone-Burt, Art Parkinson and Paul Giamatti. The movie follows a rescue-helicopter pilot and his ex-wife who attempt to leave Los Angeles and head to San Francisco to find and rescue their estranged daughter after an earthquake hits California.
