Academy Awards show producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron announced today that pop duo Tegan and Sara and comedy-music trio The Lonely Island will perform the Oscar-nominated song Everything Is Awesome from the animated feature The Lego Movie at the 87th Oscars ceremony, hosted by Neil Patrick Harris, on Sunday, February 22. The song written by Shawn Patterson is one of the five nominees in the Best Original Song category, alongside Glory from Selma, Grateful from Beyond the Lights, I’m Not Gonna Miss You from Glen Campbell…I’ll Be Me and Lost Stars from Begin Again.
