Oscar show producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron announced today that singer, songwriter and actress Rita Ora will perform the Oscar-nominated song Grateful at the 87th Academy Awards ceremony on Sunday, February 22. The song written by Diane Warren for Gina Prince-Bythewood’s film Beyond the Lights starring Gugu Mbatha-Raw & Nate Parker is one of the five nominated songs in the Best Original Song category. This marks Warren’s seventh Oscar nomination. She was previously nominated for such movies as Armageddon, Up Close & Personal, Pearl Harbor, Con Air and Music of the Heart. The 87th Oscars will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2015, at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood.
