Sony Classical will release a soundtrack album for the drama The Imitation Game. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award-nominated composer Alexandre Desplat (The King’s Speech, The Queen, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Argo). The soundtrack will be released on November 10, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio clips. The Imitation Game is directed by Morten Tyldum and stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Alan Turing, the genius British mathematician, logician, cryptologist and computer scientist who led the charge to crack the German Enigma Code that helped the Allies win WWII. Keira Knightley, Mark Strong, Matthew Goode and Charles Dance are co-starring. The drama premiered at this year’s Telluride Film Festival and will be released on November 21 by the Weinstein Company.
