Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the indie drama The Motel Life. The album features the film’s original score composed by David Holmes (Ocean’s Eleven, Out of Sight, Haywire). Also included are the songs from the movie by such artists as Jonathan Clay, Joe D’Augustine, Townes Van Zandt, Buddy Stuart, The Kills, Richmond Fontaine, Justin Townes Earle and Little Accidents. The soundtrack will be released on March 18, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Motel Life is directed by Alan & Gabe Polsky and stars Emile Hirsch, Stephen Dorff, Dakota Fanning, Kris Kristofferson, Garret Backstrom, Andrew Lee, Doc Divecchio, Nancy Youngblut. The movie based on the novel by Willy Vlautin follows two down-on-their-luck brothers who are forced to flee from their home to Reno after being involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident. The drama was released in theaters last November and is now available on VOD.
