Kevin Haskins is composing the score for the upcoming crime drama Electric Slide. The film is written and directed by Tristan Patterson and stars Jim Sturgess, Isabel Lucas, Patricia Arquette, Chloë Sevigny, and Christopher Lambert. The movie is based on a true story set in the 1980s and follows the owner of a posh Los Angeles furniture store who robbed a bank to impress his new girlfriend and became a serial robber known as “The Gentleman Bandit”. Hans C. Ritter (Sound of My Voice), Christine Vachon (Boys Don’t Cry, Far from Heaven, Kill Your Darlings) & Kirk D’Amico (Eulogy) are producing the Myriad Pictures production. Lorenzo di Bonaventura (Transformers series, G.I. Joe) is among the executive producers of the project. Haskins who is best known as a member of the rock groups Bauhaus, Tones On Tails and Love and Rockets has previously scored such features as Creature and Employee of the Month. Electric Slide is currently in post-production and is expected to premiere in 2014.
