RCA Records will release a soundtrack album for the musical drama Black Nativity. The album features the songs from the folm performed by film’s cast includimg Jennifer Hudson, Forest Whitaker, Jacob Latimore, Angela Bassett, Tyrese Gibson, Luke James, Nasir Jones (aka Nas), Mary J. Blige and Grace Gibson. The soundtrack will be released on November 5, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Audio clipscan be checked out after the jump. Black Nativity directed by Kasi Lemmons is based on the Broadway gospel musical by Langston Hughes, which premiered in 1961 and follows a street-wise teen from Baltimore who is sent to New York City by his single mother to spend the Christmas holiday with his estranged relatives.
