La-La Land Records has released a new soundtrack release for the 1993 comedy drama Dave directed by Ivan Reitman and starring Kevin Kline, Sigourney Weaver and Frank Langella. The album features the expanded and remastered score from the Warner Bros. Pictures production composed by James Newton Howard (King Kong, The Sixth Sense, The Hunger Games), including about 30 minutes of previously unreleased music and a number of alternates. The soundtrack is now available to order on the label’s website, where you can also listen to audio clips. The album is limited to 3000 copies.
The label has also released the world premiere official soundtrack release for the 1997 horror thriller The Relic directed by Peter Hyams and starring Penelope Ann Miller and Tom Sizemore. The film’s music is composed and conducted by John Debney (The Passion of the Christ, Iron Man 2, Elf).
