Ghostlight Records will release the official cast recording album for the Broadway musical Leap of Faith. The album features the musical’s songs composed by multiple Academy Award-winning composer Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid) and lyrics by Glenn Slater. Leap of Faith is based on the 1992 film of the same name starring Steve Martin (and featuring a score by Cliff Eidelman) and centers on a con man who is posing as a man of faith and who is redeemed by the love of a good woman. The Tony Award-nominated musical scripted by Janus Cercone and Warren Leight premiered in Los Angeles in 2010 and opened on Broadway this past April.
