The soundtrack details of the score release for the upcoming movie adaptation of The Hunger Games have been revealed. The album includes almost 45 minutes of the original score from the movie composed by James Newton Howard. The soundtrack will be released on March 26, 2012 by Universal Republic and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Audio clips from all tracks on the release will be added to this article in the next couple of days. A separate soundtrack album featuring the film’s songs is also being released by the label as reported in our previous article. The Hunger Games directed by Gary Ross and starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Stanley Tucci, Elizabeth Banks and Woody Harrelson will be released on March 23, 2012 by Lionsgate.
