Badly Drawn Boy (aka Damon Gough) has recently recorded his score for the comedy drama Another Bullshit Night in Suck City. The movie based on the memoir of Nick Flynn is adapted for the screen and directed by Paul Weitz (Little Fockers, In Good Company). The film starring Robert De Niro and Paul Dana tells the story of a young writer who takes a job at a homeless shelter in Boston where one night he discovers his long-absent father seeking a bed. Julianne Moore and Olivia Thirlby are co-starring. Weitz is also producing the project with Michael Costigan (Cyrus, Smart People) and Andrew Miano (A Single Man, Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist). Badly Drawn Boy has previously worked with Paul Weitz and his brother Chris on the 2002 dramedy About a Boy starring Hugh Grant and Toni Collette. Another Bullshit Night in Suck City marks only the second theatrical feature scoring assignment for the English singer and composer. A release in 2012 is expected for the Focus Features production.
