River Run Films will release a soundtrack album for the coming-of-age drama Once Upon a River. The album features the film’s original score composed by Death Cab For Cutie’s Zac Rae. Also included are songs by Rodney Crowell, JD Souther, Will Oldham, Bridget St. John, Fran Farley & others. The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 2, 2020 and physically (on CD and vinyl) on October 23 is available for pre-order here. Visit Amazon to pre-order the soundtrack in all formats. Once Upon a River is written and directed by Haroula Rose and stars Kenadi DelaCerna, John Ashton, Tatanka Means, Lindsay Pulsipher, Ajuawak Kapashesit, Kenn E. Head, Coburn Goss, Dominic Bogart and Sam Straley. The movie follows a Native American teenager who flees down Michigan’s Stark River in search of her estranged mother after her father is killed in a tragic accident. The drama premiered at last year’s Bentonville Film Festival and will be released next month by Film Movement.
