The full details of the soundtrack album for the drama Hidden Figures have been revealed. The album features the songs from the film by the film’s co-composer and producer Pharrell Williams, as well as Mary J. Blige, Alicia Keys, Lalah Hathaway, Kim Burrell and Janelle Monáe. The soundtrack will be released on December 9, 2016 by Columbia Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A couple of songs, including Surrender, I See a Victory and Runnin’ are already available to download now. Hidden Figures is directed by Theodore Melfi and stars Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, Janelle Monáe, Kirsten Dunst, Jim Parsons, Mahershala Ali, Aldis Hodge, Glen Powell and Kevin Costner. The movie tells the true story of a group of brilliant African-American women working at NASA, who served as the brains the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit. The drama will be released in select theaters on December 25, 2016 by 20th Century Fox and expand nationwide on January 13, 2017.
