Joseph Trapanese has taken over scoring duties on the ABC drama Quantico. He is scoring the show starting with the third episode of the second season, which premieres tonight. Joel J. Richard (John Wick) has previously scored the first season and first two episodes of the current season. Quantico is created by Joshua Safran and stars Priyanka Chopra, Jake McLaughlin, Aunjanue Ellis, Yasmine Al Massri, Johanna Braddy, Russell Tovey, Pearl Thusi and Blair Underwood. The series executive produced by Safran, Mark Gordon, Robert Sertner, Jorge Zamacona and Nicholas Pepper follows a group of young FBI recruits, all with specific reasons for joining, who battle their way through training at the Quantico base in Virginia. The ABC Studios production currently airs every Sunday night on ABC. Visit the official show website for updates.
Trapanese’s upcoming projects also include the Benjamin Walker-starring thriller Shimmer Lake, which was recently picked up by Netflix for a domestic release. The composer whose previous credits include Straight Outta Compton, Oblivion, Insurgent, Allegiant and Earth to Echo is also set to score the first full season of Amazon’s Jean-Claude Van Johnson, which was recently picked up to series.
I liked Joel J. Richard’s work on the show…
