Walt Disney Records will release the official soundtrack album for the fantasy adventure The BFG. The album features the film’s original music composed by John Williams (Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jurassic Park, Jaws, E.T., Schindler’s List, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone). The soundtrack will be released on July 1, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check back on this page for the full album details. The BFG is directed by Steven Spielberg and stars Mark Rylance, Ruby Barnhill, Penelope Wilton, Jemaine Clement, Rebecca Hall, Rafe Spall and Bill Hader. The movie based on Roald Dahl’s classic tells the story of a young girl and the Giant who introduces her to the wonders and perils of Giant Country. I’m hoping that’s not the real music in the trailer, because that does not sound like John Williams. That just sounds generic
