The Los Angeles Italia Film Fashion and Art Fest has announced today that Ennio Morricone will be honored at the 11th edition of the festival, which takes place from February 21 – 27 at the TCL Chinese 6 Theaters in Hollywood. The composer of such films as The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, The Mission, Once Upon a Time in the West, Days of Heaven and The Untouchables is nominated for a Golden Globe Award this year for his work on Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight and is considered to be a front winner to receive an Academy Award nomination for his original score to the film.
