Mac Quayle has been hired to score the upcoming Fox series Scream Queens. The show is created by Ryan Murphy, Ian Brennan & Brad Falchuk (Glee) and stars Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis, Lea Michele, Oliver Hudson, Keke Palmer, Abigail Breslin, Billie Lourd, Skyler Samuels, Lucien Laviscount, Diego Boneta, Glen Powell and Nasim Pedrad. The horror comedy anthology series’ first season will revolve around a college campus which is rocked by a series of murders. Murphy, Falchuk and Brennan are also executive producing the 20th Century Fox Television production with Dante Di Loreto (Glee, The Normal Heart, Temple Grandin). Quayle has previously scored the fourth season of American Horror Story for Murphy and Falchuk. Scream Queens is set to premiere this fall on Fox. Quayle also has the USA series Mr. Robot, as well as the indie comedy Frank & Cindy starring Oliver Platt & Rene Russo coming up. The composer also scored the upcoming documentary Autism in Love. The film directed by Matt Fuller examines the reality of autistic adulthood and shows how the members of this often-misunderstood community cope with the challenge of keeping romance alive. Fuller is also producing the project with Carolina Groppa. The movie is set to premiere next month at the Tribeca Film Festival.
