Varese Sarabande has announced the details of the soundtrack album for the action war drama Fury. The album features the film’s original music written by Academy Award-winning composer Steven Price (Gravity, The World’s End, Attack the Block). The soundtrack will be released on October 14, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check back on this page for audio clips. Fury is written and directed by David Ayer and stars Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Michael Peña, Jon Bernthal, Jason Isaacs and Scott Eastwood. The movie is set during World War II in April of 1945 as the Allies make their final push in the European Theatre and follows an army sergeant who commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Gravity’s score was nice, but overrated. However, I’m really looking forward to this soundtrack. Price seems to be a versatile composer.
